Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certifications reinforces the steps of Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation and defibrillation. Training includes understanding the importance of early CPR and defibrillation, basic steps of performing CPR, relieving choking, and using an AED; along with understanding each role or link in the Chain of Survival.

These courses are for professionals and the community who need to know how to perform CPR, as well as other lifesaving skills, in a wide variety of in-hospital and pre-hospital settings.

Milifesavers Training offers Basic Life Support programs from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross and the Health and Safety Institute. Looking For CPR For The Professional?

  • Try the Basic Life Support (BLS) Course from the American Heart Association
  • The AHA BLS program is designed for the Professional Rescuer, whether you are a Healthcare Provider, Public Safety Professional or on your company’s emergency response team; the BLS program trains you to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. The AHA BLS Certification is valid for two years. A written and skills test is required to successfully complete the course. Participants should be at least 18 years old to attend.

American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR/AED

  • The AHA Heartsaver CPR/AED program is designed for those with limited or no-medical training; the Heartsaver programs include Adult and Child CPR/AED and Infant CPR, and relief of choking. The Heartsaver Certification is valid for two years. A skills test is required to successfully complete the course. Participants should be at least 16 years old to attend.

Amercian Safety And Health Institute CPR/AED

  • The HSI CPR/AED program is also designed for those with limited or no-medical training; the HSI programs include Adult and Child CPR/AED and Infant CPR, and relief of choking. The HSI Certification is valid for two years. A skills test is required to successfully complete the course. Participants should be at least 16 years old to attend.

American Red Cross
CPR/AED

  • The ARC CPR/AED program is also designed for those with limited or no-medical training; the ARC programs include Adult and Child CPR/AED and Infant CPR, and relief of choking. The ARC Certification is valid for two years. A skills test is required to successfully complete the course. Participants should be at least 16 years old to attend.
